On the day of your travel, please check the status of your flight on https://www.jetlines.com/flight-status

 

For travel outside of Canada, we strongly suggest arriving at the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure time to

check in, verify travel documents and clear security. All international ticket counters close 60 minutes prior to

flight. If you arrive at the ticket counter less than 60 minutes prior to departure, you will have missed your flight.

 

A valid passport is required for all travelling passengers. Correct travel documents are required and must be valid at

least 6 months beyond the date of expected return. For non-Canadian passport holders, please check the specific

travel documents required by that country such as passports, validities, visas and other entry requirements.

 

We strongly advise that passengers complete the following requirements prior to their entry to Cancun:

for your convenience and ease of advance payment.

Aircraft Schedule Changes and Delays

Flight times, airlines and type of aircraft are subject to change and substitution. Canada Jetlines will

make every effort to inform guests of any changes You should reconfirm flight times 24 hours prior to

departure on: https://www.jetlines.com/flight-status. You can also contact Canada Jetlines at

1.866.320.8687.

 

Check-in

For flights to and from international destinations, the recommended minimum check in time is 180

minutes before flight departure. You must be through security and customs, if applicable, and at your

departure gate 45 minutes before the scheduled departure of your flight. If you arrive at the gate less

than 20 minutes before departure, you risk losing your reserved seat. Canada Jetlines is not responsible

for missed flights, transfers, or any portion of onward travel due to late arrival at the gate.

 

Air Only Modifications

Changes are accepted prior to 72 hours of departure. Changes subject to $50.00 per person per segment

fee plus any difference in the fare. Within 72 hours of departure, no modifications are allowed.

Name corrections are accepted prior to 72 hours of departure at a rate of $25.00 per person per file.

Within 72 hours of departure, no modifications will be permitted.

 

Vacation Packages - Schedule of Deposits and Cancellation Policies

Non-refundable deposits are required to hold a reservation for bookings made 45 days or more before

departure. Bookings made within 44 days of departure require full payment at time of booking

Cancella3ons will be accepted subject to a $250 CAD cancella3on fee (the ini3al deposit) per guest including taxes. To cancel your vaca3on, please call your Travel Agent or call 1-866-320-8687.
44 - 21 days before departure
Cancellations made 44 - 21 days before departure will result in 50% forfeit of the total amount paid. To cancel your vacation, please call your Travel Agent or call 1-866-320-8687.
20 days prior to departure
Cancellations made less than 21 days before departure will result in 100% forfeit of the total amount paid. To cancel your vacation, please call your Travel Agent or call 1-866-320-8687.

Please note that all departure taxes and travel related fees are non-refundable. Refunds will not be issued

for bookings cancelled by you or Canada Jetlines resulting from an act of God or an Event of Force Majeure.

 

No Shows

Missed flights or unused vacation components are non-refundable. If a guest does not use the confirmed

flights indicated on the ticket, and does not notify Canada Jetlines as outlined below, return flights in the

ticket will be cancelled. To avoid the ticket going into a “no show” status, you may contact us up to two hours

prior to departure to cancel your flight. Additionally, if a guest does not check into their hotel on the original

arrival date, subsequent nights will be cancelled without refund or credit. Refunds are also not provided in

the event of an early departure.

 

Package Modifications

All vacations packages are subject to applicable supplier terms and conditions, rates and charges. Changes

are re-booked at current retail price. A change of property is subject to the change fee, and hotel and

other suppliers will have fees that may be applicable. To change your vacation, please call your Travel

Agent during business hours.

 

Name corrections and name changes:

A valid name correction or name change includes one of the following:

  • A legal name change,

  • A married name change,

  • A typo in the name made by either the customer or agent,

  • A missing name detail such as a middle name.

  • A complete name change is not permitted

 

Applicable fees for name corrections or name changes are as follows:

Single occupancy name changes are not permitted.

21 days or more before departure, a $25 fee on the booking applies per change***.

20 to 8 days before departure, a $50 fee on the booking applies per change***.

7 days or less before departure, any change is considered a cancellation and full cancellation fees apply.

Changes including change of date, gateway or destination airport and hotel or room category:

21 days or more before departure, the price for the selected product at the time of the change applies +

$100 change fee per person. The change fee will be waived if the price for the new selected product is

higher.

 

20 days or less before travel commences and thereafter, any change is considered a cancellation and full

cancellation fees apply.

 

Changes to room occupancy:

Changes to hotel room occupancy are considered a cancellation and rebooking by our hotel suppliers;

therefore, pricing at the time of the occupancy change will apply to all occupants of the room and may

incur a change fee of $100 per person. If an occupant in a room cancels, that person will be subject to

cancellation fees. An additional occupant to the room will be subject to system pricing at that time. In

both cases, remaining room occupants will be subject to new pricing as follows: If the new price per person

is lower, existing occupants will be refunded the difference less the change fee. If the new price per person

is higher, existing occupants will have to pay the difference and the change fee will be waived.
